Camden is consulting on two new sets of 2xcharging points in the conservation area (opposite 13-15 Compayne and opposite 13 Aberdare Gardens) as well as an additional space on Fairhazel where the existing one is near the Arches. The charging points will remove stretches of residents parking circa 13m for each.
CRASH has written to Camden with several comments and questions – including why so many of the existing and cheaper lamppost charging points are broken and that the existing faster chargers on Broadhurst and Fairhazel are much more expensive and not used. The new ones proposed are the faster more expensive ones, charging at them will be limited to three hours and available to anyone (ie not just residents). Residents potentially affected, including those of us who may be considering replacing their diesel vehicles with electric as a result of the expanded congestion and low emission zone changes, or those who are frustrated by the broken lamppost chargers, are encouraged to submit comments to these consultations by 22 July to: [email protected]
