The South Hampstead Flood Action Group would like everyone who was flooded to fill in one of Thames Water's Flooding Questionnaire.
The more people who do this, the more likely it is that Thames Water will make this area a priority for drainage improvement. Thames will keep the information provided confidential --- they won't share them with any other organisations, including insurers. You can fill in the questionnaire online: tinyurl.com/f6k8br7c. Or print a copy to complete by hand and post in by googling: “Thames Water Flooding Questionnaire”. If anyone needs help printing the form or filling it in, they can contact the Flood Action Group on: [email protected]. The Group wants everyone to encourage their friends and neighbours who have been flooded to fill in the questionnaire, including everyone who completed the local survey prepared by The Group in the autumn. They would also like residents to tell them more about impact of being flooded on them and their property. They welcome any photos or videos they have of the flood or of the damage it did. The Group will use this information anonymously as part of its campaigning. For example it will form part of its submission to Thames Water's Independent Review, as well as being used to inform the council and the local press about the importance of protecting this area from any future extreme rainstorms. The Group welcomes any comments and ideas you have. Please contact them on [email protected]
